Shot in the fall of 2009, "I Miss You" intends to explore the clash between time and space. Mixxing in stock footage with scences that I filmed in Anarcortes, the film investigates the tension of experiencing different spaces at the same time.
I had orginally intended that my footage stand alone as its own film, as a story of one tring to find his way after a personal loss. IT was not until I discovered the archive footage two years later that I found the perfect addendum. Much of the footage details 1930 Milan; its similiar ephermeral nature challenges the viewer to connect the orginal chracter's feelings of isolation to a different era.
